Unit 7 Test Review Stations!

Hey kiddos! It's that time again! Your Unit 7 Test will be this Friday in class. Use the links below for the review stations and feel free to look at these from home for some extra study practice!

Adaptations

  • Level 4= Watch the following video on the myths of evolution and use it to debate the following questions with your teammates at this station with you. Myths of Evolution Video
  • Evolution= the process by which organisms have changed over time, specifically some organisms developed from previous/ earlier forms of organisms
  • Debate Questions:

    • is survival of the fittest real?
    • if more adaptations are passed on, is evolution occurring?
    • what does it mean for an organism to evolve?
    • how do adaptations relate to evolution?

Traits

  • Level 4= Briefly look through the article, specifically at the table showing nature vs nurture. Some scientists believe that humans are affected most by the traits they inherit from their parents, whereas other scientists believe that humans are more so affected by things that have been taught or learned. Nature vs Nurture Article

Metamorphosis

  • Level 3= All living things transform through a life cycle, some go through metamorphosis, some don’t. Use this article to look through the other kinds of changes organisms go through in their life cycle. You may click on any of the links on the side to see what the life cycle looks like for each organism. Life Cycles of Organisms

  • Using the 2nd article, see more of the kinds of life cycles. Scroll to the bottom to see the 3 reasons why metamorphosis can be considered an adaptation. Hint= this will be the level 4 on your test (you may want to write this in your notes or on your review :) All Lives Transform Article
